Nearly a decade ago when I was in the Navy Reserve, I did a course for a week in Adelaide on just this very subject. We arranged a questionaire to be completed by a candidate. The questionaire has no right or wrong, no pass or fail. It related to HOW a person liked to work. Nothing to do with how efficient they were doing it, just how they worked and what they liked and disliked. It was very interesting and we actually gave the person the 'results' of the program for future reference both for themselves and a prospective employer.
